10 Fun Facts about Me
The first time I ever left the country was to study abroad in Paris one summer in college. Paris will always be a special place for me.
I hate ketchup with a passion.
I’m currently learning ASL!
I can’t watch scary movies. I will literally frantically scramble for the remote if I accidentally stumble upon one on TV.
Danny was my first kiss. (vice versa)
Fall is my favorite season! I have a group chat with some friends called “Basic Pumpkin B*” and yes you guessed it.. we share about all things fall and pumpkin spice. Every year we go to Half Moon Bay together and pick out pumpkins too!
I love all things nature. Plants, flowers, redwood forests, waterfalls, hikes, camping (I wish Danny loved camping — but he hates it).
I majored in Fashion Design my first year of college but then transferred to a BFA in Fashion Merchandising instead. My Project Runway dreams didn’t last very long…
I LOVE jazz music. I will tune in via app to our local radio station 91.1 FM every morning (yes I’m a Abuelita) . I also always gravitate towards jazz vinyls.
I went through a weird stage where I absolutely hated my curly hair (future blog post for that!) BUT in recent years have really embraced the natural curls!

I can eat a WHOLE pumpkin pie all by myself.
Growing up I used to spend my summer with family in Nicaragua.
Watched the Godfather for the first time two weeks ago.
I CAN’T watch scary movies. I wish I could…but just can’t do it.
I went to 50+ San Francisco Giants baseball games in 2012 just for fun. (I also traveled out of SF to Anaheim, Seattle, San Diego, Arizona and Washington D.C.)
I quit my job working at an airport to visit Erika studying abroad in Paris. (My job refused to give me vacation time for it).
Currently learning how to play “Slow Burn” by Kacey Musgraves on the acoustic guitar.
I shot a home version of Lord of the Rings with my brother Ronny when we were kids…we still have the video somewhere.
I like Solange way more than Beyonce.
I never liked to read and never would finish a book in school. But, in the last year I’ve read 20+ books and have grown to love it.My favorite book so far is the classic “The Diary of Anne Frank”.
