Juneteenth Series: Fashion
Oh fashion! Sherri McMullen founder of the boutique McMullen based here in the Bay Area (Oakland and Palo Alto) was actually one of my instructors while I was in college. Ever since I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Fashion Merchandising I’ve been following along to see her business continue to flourish as the years have passed on. All while she also has been styling some famous clients like Ayesha Curry.
Another company I have my eye on is Aurora James’ luxury accessories brand — Brother Vellies. I wish I could splurge on the whole assortment. So soooooo gorgeous. To note she’s also the founder of the 15% pledge! Lastly, for all you eco-conscious shoppers I included some vintage and sustainable options as well. Enjoy!
