Day Trip to Pescadero
A couple weeks back I had some PTO I had to use for work and was contemplating on what to do with the free time. But, given the current status of the pandemic in the US traveling far is out of the picture for now. So Danny and I have been limiting our time outside around lots of people as much as possible. Thankfully livin’ in the Bay Area we can still definitely take advantage of being so close to nature. Our go-to during this time has been goin’ on long drives (especially along the coast) and grabbing something to eat along the way. We decided to go for a drive down to Pescadero just to get some fresh air, change of scenery AND garlic bread — and oh did it feel good for the soul! Definitely would recommend if possible (don’t forget your mask when out!), roll down the windows and just soak in the fresh salt water air. Here’s a few snaps from that day!
Day Trip to Pescadero:
Drive along Highway 1 — don’t forget to make a playlist before!
Pick up artichoke garlic bread from Arcangeli Grocery Co. (A MUST!)
Pie Ranch (Sadly, they were ALL sold out of pies when we got there. All they had left were some cookies and drinks. So I grabbed a Moss Beach Kombucha which was delicious! We will definitely return in the fall for our favorite pumpkin pie.)
Snap a pic in front of Level Lea Farm located at 743 Pescadero Creek Rd. (The farm is covered in large hearts with wishes and prayers like “paz en el mundo” and “spring rain.”)
Tide Pools at Bean Hollow State Beach
Take a sip at Highway 1 Brewing Company
Stop by R+R Herbs for fresh fruit and veggies
Take a peek inside Slow Coast/ Stage Road for some shopping
Visit the goats at Harley Farms Goat Dairy & pick up fresh goat cheese. (Feb - May baby goat season!) You can pet/feed them!
XO, Erika
